Mike Semanoff: Advanced Tandem Instructor

Mike Semanoff comes from a family where jumping out of airplanes and paragliding off of mountains is the norm.  Starting with his grandfathers service in the 101st airborne division in WWII, to his father being a long time skydiving veteran. Mike took to he air while serving in the 82nd airborne division as a team leader in a recon platoon.

During the summers Mike works full time as an adventure guide and action sports photographer. He specializes in taking individuals paragliding, skydiving, or leading groups on his 3 day adventure trips.  Mike has been paragliding for over 5 years and is in his 11th year of skydiving.  Mike loves sharing his passion for life and adventure with everyone he comes in contact with.

Mike is also a renowned fitness expert who has performed in places such as Universal Studios Hollywood, the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, and has been featured in Ironman Magazine several times over the past several years. Jonathan Jefferies: Master Tandem Instructor

Jonathan learned to Paraglide at Cloud 9 Paragliding with Steve Mayer and Dexter Clearwater (Proflyght Paragliding, Hawaii). After spending a few summers paragliding in Southeast Alaska via helicopter drop-offs and long hikes, he apprenticed to become an instructor with Steve Mayer and received his instructor rating with Gabrielle Jebb at Torrey Pines Glider Port in California in 2003. After instructing at the point of the mountain full time for the next few years he received his Advanced and Tandem instructor ratings from Ken Hudonjorgensen. After working for the nation's largest paragliding school as the head instructor for a few years Jonathan decided to start Utah Paragliding in 2007 and began importing APCO and Skywalk paragliders. He has become a permanent fixture out at the hill and is commonly used as a human weather vane when people want to know what the wind at the Point is doing, they just call Jonathan.
